Maybe it was a mistake.

Everyone is entitled to one mistake, and to be forgiven for it.

If you really love her and she is truly sorry, you may want to check into marriage counceling to help the two of you out.

Good luck, and I am sorry that this happened to you.

Did she come to you and tell you herself, or did you find out through some other means? Was this a one-time thing?

The worst part of cheating, in my opinion, is the broken trust. If she came and told you herself, with little chance of you finding out otherwise, then that's a pretty big thing. If it happened more than once, then it's an ongoing affair which requires ongoing deception, but a one-time thing could indeed just be a moment of idiocy. To me, if she came to you herself, that shows that she's being on the level about it being a mistake.

If that's the case, then what it boils down to is you need to decide what your relationship is worth to you, and whether you think you can get over what she's done. If you love this woman and truly believe that you two would have been happy with each other for life barring this event, then is one screwup that she instantly regrets worth throwing that away for? Do you feel like you could trust her in the future? Do you feel like she's learned her lesson from this and truly regrets it?

If it was an ongoing thing, or if you found out about it some other way, then that's a whole different thing. That's deception pure and simple, and what someone says because they got caught is a lot less valuable than what they choose to do without having been caught.

Dude. Look at your marriage as a scale. You have to keep it balanced. This is justice.

So, if you forgive her "mistake" she has to let you make a "mistake" of your own. This means that you should get the hottest broad out there and do her long and hard and repeatedly.

If she can't handle this, she's a hypocrite because she did it to you and then you should divorce her. If she is cool with it, then you both can work out your problems and stay together.

How does that sound?

And people say I don't give worthwhile advice.

If you let it ride and forget about it, you're officially a place mat. Of course you love her, she's your wife, but it seems as if her love for you has come into question. Revenge? Good luck with that one. In my opinion, murder is not out of the question as a decent means of revenge. Getting away with it is another story. Watch enough CSI?

What did you say your wife's name is? If she's not good looking let her go. She's not worth the effort.
