You could try looking up auditions in your area on websites such as http://netheater411.com. A lot of the stuff on that sight is in MA, but there's some in NH as well. Also, there are plenty of books about acting that you can pick up at any bookstore. I suggest that, when you enter high school, you should find out if they have a drama club or some theatre classes. The teachers will be able to give you some information about entering the acting world.
No matter what you do, I wish you good luck. It's a tough field, but if you know it's the one for you, then power to ya! Just remember, when you're faced with the challenges that the actor's life will bring, you never know what you can do if you don't try. Again, good luck and perhaps we'll see each other down the road.

Do drama in high school and try to go to a conservatory post-grad. You have to realize there's a difference between acting and being rich and famous. Most actors don't get there and you probably won't either. Check out some books from your library, like stanislavski's "An Actor Prepares" if you really care about learning about the art of acting. If you desire to be a Hollywood actor then get your education, get a job and move to LA and hope you don't blend in with the millions of other people hoping for their big break based on talent alone. You need to decide if you want to be a serious performer or some Hollywood joke who makes too much money.

Start by joining the drama department at your school. You are 13 years old. You have many years of acting ahead of you. Acting classes are expensive. In the meantime, go to the public library and start reading plays. Read as many as you can. Imagine yourself as the character in the plays you read. That's what I did when I was 13.
Since you can't afford classes, wait until you have the money for classes.
If there is a Community Theatre where you live. Ask your parents to call them and ask if they have free acting classes.
Don't rush! Don't be desperate. Acting will always be around.

the main conceited ingredient i replace into informed from an performing instructor is for all of us to have faith they prefer no education to alter into an actor. point and action picture performing are 2 thoroughly seperate fields. let's imagine for television, do you already know WHY actors are in stag photographs for all time? Do you even understand what it particularly is? Or why hitting your mark is so considerable? Or why eyeflashes or look aways help the editors interior the edit room? Or the thank you to look dramatic in an rather shrink physique? Your suited purpose is education and in case you have an interest in action picture paintings, your suited wager is commercial paintings. you're a minor and it may well be stressful to do something except your discern/gaurdian is there. i'm going to forget approximately approximately it and take performing instructions interior the midst of h.s. then while it particularly is as much as you to pursue performing or college you already know which highway to take. devoid of journey, education on a resume is suited. I in basic terms propose extra advantageous paintings for the money and 2nd so which you're accustome to being on set and don't wander around like a goofball. additionally, do not positioned extra advantageous paintings on your performing resume. those 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or maybe though performing classes are actually not needed... There are prepaid instructions. Like one classification for___________ as quickly as each and every week for 2-3 months for $$$. those can finally end up as 30-50 a classification which isn't undesirable in any respect. even though college you visit do not visit 3 lame one no person heard of earlier taught by somebody discovered on craigslist. maximum colleges prefer to delight themselves of widespread working actors. seek for a college that an actor/actress you comprehend went to it particularly is a initiate.

It shouldn't take money at all. Find out if there is a drama club or an audtion for a school play. Then don't worry if you don't get the lead. You know you are serious and so you can have patience. Being desperate sounds like a good start.
