That's right on par....

if anything you could throw a couple bucks towards a grapichs card with some ram on it and a 10/100/1000 nic wouldn't hurt. but price wise you're right about where you should be assuming it has at least a 1year warranty.

It looks like a good setup for a gaming laptop. Personally, I would invest in a more powerful processor. For example, check out AlienWare. They have the fastest laptop dual-core at a factory overclocked 2.6GHz. I would probably go with a 2.16GHz or 2.33GHz processor for best performance.

Pro: CPU, Memory, Graphics, Battery
Con: Small HDD (but fast), no lightscribe, only a/g wireless (no big deal)

$1481 is good price.

Should play or do anything you want.

hard drive for that price should be 120 gb not 80
other wise not a bad system
and i'ld ditch the vista and get xp pro installed instead

Well I dont know off hand what games you can run but i do know that that is a really good PC (for a laptop anyway) Im pretty sure you
could do alot game-wise)

not bad, maybe a little too much $ but, it prolly could run oblivion and other good games (the FSB ideally should be 1000Mhz but 667 isn't really that bad)


p.s. vista sucks use xp or your games might not run
