I like her too (I'm 12 by the way)....
When she was "big" a couple of years ago, all my 10 year old friends liked her, surprisingly (because I don't like popular music) I liked her too. Then a year later my friends stopped liking her- I'm not sure why. I continued to like her, and bought her 2nd CD. I believe she was the object of a major passing trend. She disappeared for a couple of years, but when she got married she sort of re-emerged. Her image now, I believe, is pretty good... because she is not in the media but she has an untarnished reputation. I have gathered she released some sort of new song which I haven't listened to, and people seemed to like it. Around now would be the perfect time to release a new CD for her, because if she doesn't I think she will sink back down into the depths of "briefly popular" artists. Moi? I think she is totally cute and a real coming-from-nowhere story... but I feel others don't feel like this, and still think she is not quite into the music scene of today. I prefer her old music, but for her to be successful again she really needs to release a CD that will be widely popular.

I love Avril! She's awesome. I like both of her styles, but since I'm so used to her 'punk' look, the girly/pop look is kinda a shock. I like the song girlfriend. It's awesome!

I was a bit surprised at her new sound... i hope it isn't all like "Girlfriend" too. I like Girlfriend though since i'm listening to it right now. I've been an Avril Fan since she 1st came out. I even met her at like her 1st gig.

I dont like it. It seems like all she cares about is making money rather than making music so she tries too hard. What was up with her dancing? She looked a little ridiculous.. And whats up with her realeasing the girlfriend song in like 142543454980 different languages. I heard her japanese and spanish version which she definitely sounded like some wierd foreigner trying to speak their language (I speak some japanese and spanish so I can tell). Only the chorus part is in the said language but honestly...

Well I think she was better as a brunette...but if she wan't to be a blonde like her husband i'm fine with that....and her new song are a littel diffrent than like skater boy or complacted or nobodys home but she not horrible or anything....or maybe not yet

The song 'girlfriend' makes me think she has turned to bubblegum pop, she's just like all the other pop singers to me now. I used to think her songs were okay but now I'm disgusted with her change.
