Yes, I love my name because no one else has it. It doesn't have a translation, but it is significant to my family because I was named after a cat from Texas. Weird story.

No, I never have... the baby book says it means "Grace". I was named after a girl that was on a kid's show in the 60's that my brother liked, but is loosely based on my grandmother's name. I will tell you though, since I was not given a middle name, when I was in 8th grade, I made one up, and they put it on my diploma! My mother did not think it was funny, however, and was pretty salty about it for a few months.

Yeah, I quite like my name. =)

It's a French name, I know that much, but it's not significant or anything.

It's all right. Kind of plain, but at least it's not Agatha. It means lady in Italian. I think I'm named after an old song.."Oh, Donna".

i have no idea what it means...but I like it! my parents were either going to name me Lauren or Melanie, and they went with Melanie...I would have been fine with either though, since I plan on naming my daughter Lauren (when I eventually have one since i'm only 18)....&& my friends used to call me Mellie when I was in elementary school, haha back in the day.
