If it's XP, richt click on "My Computer" and selct "Poperties". Click on the "Advanced" tab and the "Performance" tab. In the Performance options window, choose the "Advanced" tab and click on the "Change" tab. Make sure that "System managed size" is selected, and click on OK till you're out of it.
