ok so i have this neckalace that i wear everyday cuz my mom got it for me for my sweet 16. its just a simple chain with a small heart shaped diamond charm. Since i wear it alot its gottne to where it doesnt shine as much anymore. so does anyone know how to clean jewelry with any household products? i dont have any jewelry cleaner so a makeshift one would be nice to know about.
got any recipes or suggestions?

Mild soap or amonia. Whatever you do, steer clear of bleach. Use warm water and a soft bristle toothbrush. Check with your local jewelry stores, most offer free cleanings!

Tooth paste is the best jewelry cleaner there is.It want hurt precious metals and it will make your diamond shine. Use a tooth brush with tooth paste on it and clean your necklace.Just make sure you get all the tooth paste off or it will have white residue on it.

If it is silver you can use toothpaste.

use products that you would use to clean windows it will make the neckalace shiner.
