I bought an HP Pavilion DV6262 last week from Comet, best laptop I've ever had! 1Gb RAM, 120Gb Hard drive, Windows Vista Home Premium, DVD RW, Wireless, AMD Turion 64 dual core CPU (not quite 1.8 Ghz though, it's 1.6Ghz).

On the website it states that it uses 128Mb of shared memory for the graphics, it's actually better than that, it has 128Mb dedicated memory and can use 128Mb of system memory if required. It uses an nvidia 6150 GPU, so nasty intel graphics rubbish here!

If you order it from the Comet website, you can elect to pick it up from your nearest comet store (same day) for £579.99 (you pay in store). If you don't use their website and just go to the store, it will be £599.99

Avoid Dell at all costs. They do not stand by their warranty without a major fight. PC World usually have some good deals on laptops.

One of the best sites for buying computers (or parts) is ebuyer.co.uk. They're cheap, the search facility works great, and customer service is excellent. Whatever you do, just don't go to PC World!
