Ok. I saved up my money to $3000 something to purchase a Mac Pro. Note that I am a girl.... Anyway, my other girlfriend was saving her money with me, too. So we decided to buy our laptops the same day. We didn't tell each other what brand Notebooks we were going to buy; we simply went ahead and purchased our notebook on our own... a week later, at college, we saw each other in class. I took out my Mac Pro and showed it to her. She said, " That's awesome." I said, " what you got?" Then she showed me a Dell XPS M 1710 Red Formula notebook. I said, " That's nice, but Mac doesn't get viruses." then she said, " Yeah, that's why I have McAfee."
My processor is 2.33GHz. Hers is the same, but she has Nvida Geforce go 7950 GPU. Her notebook plays audio louder and more powerful than mine. Her screen revolution is clear and more crispy than mine, and her DVD movies player better than mine. She plays very awesome games too. And the lights on her notebook are so attractive. Should I be Jealous

No, jealousy is a waste of time and energy but I don't know why you cant return yours, get a refund and go get one similar to your friends. Tell them you are not happy with the performance.

dude your was probably more exspensive, so I would feel good, plus dell's go out quickly, and your and college, so your mac will come in more handy with the programs it comes with, so you will like it more in the long run.

BUT!!!
if its bothering you til' you cant stop thinking about it, just return the MAC and buy and HP laptop, not a dell. Because for christmas i wanted the creative zen vision m, and my friend got the iPod video, we did what you guys did and looked at each others, and i was a little jelous, and then i convinced my mom to return the creative and get the iPod, and now i am happy, so take advantage of the return policy. GO BACK TO WINDOWS!!!

No there are more things that your machine will be able to do than hers. Even with McAfee her virus issues are not perfect. At his time you have no worries of viruses. If gaming is your thing, than yes you should be jealous, but if video editing, and music is your gig, than once you learn to use your Mac, she will be jealous.

Please don't be jealous. There are certain things about Macs that are better than PCs, and there are certain things about PCs that are better than Macs. One Mac perk, they're attractive. Your friend's computer is not. Also, Dells tend to die in performance in just a few years. Also, they're very loud and don't respond to heavy impact change well. Be happy with your computer. It's better.
