You mean Arabic Countries and you are insulting, thick head, get it through your thick head that Muslims is a description of a person belief...If you said why do Arabic Countries have lousy music and art? You would have got allot of answers..... Back to your question... Western Music promotes Ecstasy, Cocaine, Class B drugs and they take the piss out of everything that comes to their mind, they also disrespect their own mothers and for the Art, you learned it from the Muslims, How did the Thick headed barbarians learn how to draw, they needed inspiration, how did they get it? The invaded other countries....by exploring and stealing, and declaring to their own world that they have invented the TOILET.

This question was based on your opinion, right?
Music and art both fall into the culture category, but religion IS also part of culture. Some people may love Muslim music/art, some people may hate it. In this case, you don't like it...
All I can say is- it's not ugly, it's not beautiful... It's just DifFeRenT!

Well music is not really part of their religion. Maybe the music you might have listened was Arab. Since it is not an encouraged factor in the mUslim world, must be the reason they lag behind. They are not much into it.
