I have my green Tilley, http://www.tilley.com/ now a collector's item, as well as my Elder hat, with the same sacred connotation as the Bishop's miter and other ceremonial headgear.
I take off my Tilley indoors, of course, and only wear my pointed hat for rituals.
It is that flat hats are for flat heads?

Because I don't look good in flat hats. Besides, it was good enough for mum, it's good enough for me.
