is there a way to get into a game with your friend who is playing as well as other people? because in multiplayer it only allows you to play with one other person, but in wifi i can never get matched in a game with my friend

your friend goes in the game and presses multiplayer and you go into ds downloadplay. and hook in up. then you will be in the game and then you cut off so no other players can play then he/she picks the character and you don't,(unless your player 1 you pick they don't). then you play the race or whateva.

DS download play..like all of the players have to connect and you can't cut them off. If you have been doing that, then I don't know what's wrong. It worked with me.
