Is it true if I sneeze with my eyes open, my eyeballs would pop out?

Should I try it? I've got a bit of a cold at the moment...

Actually, it is not possible to sneeze with your eyes open, it is a natural reflex for you to close your eyes. For those people who claim to be able to sneeze with their eyes open, well, lets just say I don't believe them. If you can somehow manage to accomplish this, no your eyes will not pop out. Hope your cold goes away soon!

No, it's all an urban legend. However, holding in a sneeze is what can be dangerous. Doing this can result in things such as detached retinas, strokes, nose bleeds, burst eardrums, and death is possible by aneurysm. I remember my dad used to tell me he worked with a guy that died right in his chair from holding in a sneeze.

if you try it, let me know. LOL I doubt that would happen. over time, we evolved the reflex to close our eyes when we sneeze, probably to keep what we sneeze out from getting in our eyes.

No, this isn't true because it is simply impossible. I have done it before and my eyes are still in there sockets.
