Yes, its very normal to have all kinds of pressure in different areas at that stage.
You have to factor in a few things as well. You still eat food, so therefore, you will always be storing away (feces) because during pregnancy it is very common to get constipated because of the postitioning of the baby and what not. The baby is constantly growing, and at 7 months along, your baby is gaining its fat content as well. If you have a bigger baby inside of you , then its going to put more pressure on your lower body as it continues to grow and move into position.
As far as your vagina goes, many things are happening. You have twice as much blood flowing through you now, and a lot of blood pools around your vagina. Thus why if you look in the mirror, it may seem more puffy and reddish or purplish looking.
If your baby is facing downward, then there is no doubt that your pubic bone is getting a lot more pressure than its used too, but its complettely normal..
I am 34 weeks pregnant myself. I had the same pains around 7 months as well. One thing I do to releive myself of the pressure around my rectum is make sure that I do eat healthy, but I add a little bit more fiber in my diet so that I don't get "backed up" so to speak. Your aches and pains are normal, but always feel free to talk to your O.B. about them, so that he can re-assure you and give you the piece of mind that you need.
Also, check out this website, it is my favorite site to go to. You put in your due date and it pops up with all kinds of information, plus a forum of women who are as far along as you are, so you can compare stories. Its great for a piece of mind in between your doctor visits!

Hiya. I think you should contact a doctor to be on the safe side. It may just be the way the baby is lying but even still, if you are concerned, then it is not silly and needs to be checked. My baby is fully engaged at 34 weeks and just recent i have been feeling horrendous pressure low down, especially when i stand up. Hope this helps x

sweetie as the baby grows you get lots of pressure down there at both ends.and if your bones and female organs inside are small built than you will have more and be more uncomfortable,my niece was so miserable from almost 7 months on she went through sure he~~ she couldnt sit, walk or lay down with out screaming and crying(i'm not trying to scare you i am trying to ease your mind and help you out) she talked with her Ob and she told her to sit on a pillow more to 1 side(leaning like on the arm of the couch or chair) on her hip,and to lie on her left side with a body pillow between her legs and 1 length ways down her back for support at night, this did help her out a lot, she also gave her some streches to do so talk with your Ob also i hope it will you out good luck and congrads

its normal. At this time the baby is growing rapidly and creating a lot of pressure on your lower areas, if it is accompanied by cramps or loss of fluid then you need to go to the hospital, however....right now you just need ot keep your feet elevated and relieve pressure on your lower areas. If you need to take some tylenol and get in a warm bath (not hot) to soak. It does wonders.

could be the way the baby is laying. How was your last urine test, sometimes with a bladder infection, you feel 'pressure'. Bladded in fections can cause preterm labour, so I would just go for a basic urine test again. Maybe baby is laying on a nerve too

if this is your first pregnacy then yes it can be normal cause i had it my self with my first child.if its not then see your doctor if they say itds normal the u have nothing to worry about or you are showing early signs of labour.other wise it your baby getting bigger and u might just have to take a little me time and talk to the baby reasure him or her that everythings going to be fine.get your partner involved so the baby can her both its mother and father.

I would say go to the doc to be sure, but i experienced somthing like that with my first and it was just the weight of baby pressing down... I hate to say but it gets worse... feels like a bowling ball that's getting ready to fall out. But check with a doc to be sure.
