They pre-cook the food and use a special spray that smells like french fries so the place smells good, fresh, and good.......

Why does everyone seem to hate Mickey D's. Their food is ok, it's not as good as Wendy's' Southwest Taco Salad, but they do try. Before you go ahead and say that McDonnies completely sucks off the map, let me give you some statistics:

FACT: The place is the world's largest chain of fast-food restaurants, primarily selling hamburgers, chicken, french fries, milkshakes and soft drinks. More recently, it also offers salads, fruit and carrot sticks. So, I guess they do care about our health after all.

FACT: The business began in 1940, with a restaurant opened by siblings Dick and Mac McDonald in San Bernardino, California. Their introduction of the "Speedee Service System" in 1948 established the principles of the modern fast-food restaurant. The present corporation dates its founding to the opening of a franchised restaurant by Ray Kroc, in Des Plaines, Illinois on April 15, 1955, the ninth McDonald's restaurant overall. Kroc later purchased the McDonald brothers' equity in the company and led its worldwide expansion.

FACT: McDonald's restaurants are found in 120 countries and territories around the world and serve nearly 54 million customers each day. The company also operates other restaurant brands, such as Piles Café and Boston Market, and has a minority stake in Pret a Manger. The company owned a majority stake in Chipotle Mexican Grill until completing its divestment in October 2006. Until December 2003, it also owned Donatos Pizza. It also has a subsidiary, Redbox, which started in 2003 as 18-foot (5.5 m) wide automated convenience stores, but as of 2005, has focused on DVD rental machines.

Need I give you more information on fabulous...MACDonnies? LOL!

Their food is not a healthy choice but once in awhile a McChicken hits the spot. A lot of the food not only tastes like crap it is crap so over indulgence is not a good plan. No doubt they are a huge success story but a lot of their claim to fame was achieved before people really understood how bad that stuff is for you. Times are changing and McDonald's will have to more than they have so far to keep up in this race.

Not sure what you mean by "pre-cook" - since all cooked food is cooked before you eat it - unless you mean that they cook it and it sits under heat lamps for a little while before it gets to the next customer. Not much different from warming up frozen food or canned food at home. I enjoy McDonald's food, once in awhile. And, not having ever eaten crap, I can't really compare the two.

No, I like to eat there once and a while, but not too much because I do not want to get fat!!!
Now how do you know they use a "special spay" where did you hear that?? I doubt that, I know someone that used to work there and they never said anything about a "spray" and they would've told me. So if you can tell or show some proof I will believe you but right now I don't believe you.

Almost everyone I know has this strange misconception here.

Mcdonalds' fries are golden, crispy, delicious. But they actually contain a huge amount of calories, and undoubtedly cholesterol. They are also deep-fried, where the fries just soak up the oil... disgusting actually.

So, think twice when you eat the fries.

You said good twice and I don't eat there. Not because I think the food taste like shite but because it's loaded with calories. Even the salads!

Try their grilled chicken salad with fat free dressing or their grilled chicken wraps. For dessert, have a small yogurt parfait. Drink a bottle of water. Your opinion of Fast food will change.

Not at all. A quarter pounder with cheese is one of life's simple pleasures, and their nuggets are damn good.

Although, after watching "SuperSize Me" on DVD, it opened my eyes to just how bad it is for you.

Maybe 3-4 times a year at Mickey D's, but that's about it.
