is it possible to turn from gay, to straight.
I Belive i might be, but just dose not mix with the path of life im choosing to walk.
This is very hard to explain. Ive had girlfriends since the 7th grade, but then stoped dating since then. Since then Gay pornography has turned me on, but striaght pornography that fetures women don't. But id rather be with a girl, not a man, when i picture my self with a man, i get sick. But when i look at women, i dont get a ***** or anything. I need help..

Don't listen to these people. Sexuality is probably the least understood human trait. Whoever tells you that you can turn straight or gay is probably republican. Whoever tells you that you are born with it and you can't change it is democrat. These are political biases and aren't based on sound scientific truth. Though they have studies, all of them don't have ANY conclusive evidence.
The answer basically is though...you CAN turn straight or gay, but YOU yourself can't force yourself...it's impossible. Sexuality is a complex interaction of thought processes, deeply ingrained personality structures, and environmental factors. I think the point isn't being gay or straight, the point is, what REALLY is making you unhappy right now? Gay people aren't unhappy because of their attractions...they are unhappy because society is preventing them from feeling those attractions.
DON'T categorize yourself into gay or straight. Those are political terms. Just choose what makes you TRULY happy. That doesn't mean going off and having sex with random people. That also doesn't mean holding in everything and constantly repressing your feelings. It's all about moderating your emotions with logic and moderating logic with emotions. If you aren't able to realize how precious this life and how soon death comes around the corner, you won't be able to realize that being true to yourself and just living life without trapping yourself in a prison is all you can do in life to make this one and only life you have worth living. You can change your behavior, but you cannot change your most basic desires. A gay person can choose a life of celibacy, but desire is persistent.
You can ask yourself: Why would I rather be with a woman than a man? Or, Why does it make me sick to think of being with a man? Your answers to these questions will reveal a lot to you. If your answer has to do with something that you have been taught (for instance, it is "right" or "normal" to be with woman, or it's "wrong" or "sick" to be with a man) then the issue has little to do with your sexuality and more to do with how you navigate in the outside world.
We experience our sexuality in a lot of different ways. What we fantasize is one way, what stimulates us visually is another, and what we do is yet another. They don't always "match". The important thing is that, as you are learning and exploring, you keep yourself safe. Don't do anything that you are not comfortable with, and don't let anyone tell you what you feel is wrong.

My philosophy is that you CAN'T change your sexuality, it's an instinct. If you honestly think you've managed to "switch over" from gay to str8, chances are a)You're only fooling yourself, or b) You weren't gay in the first place, only confused or going through a phase.
My guess for you is that you're body is physically attracted to guys, but you've still got the mentality of a str8 guy, due to societies chains, or some other unknown reason. My advice to you ...embrace yourself for who you are, because there's no way to "fix" this. Maybe if you just ... wait it out, it'll all end up being a phase, and there wont be anything to worry about. I hope I helped hun! Loves,

Life sometimes doesn't deal you the cards that you want or expect. You can be happy but you have to accept yourself for who/what you are. Millions of us have felt as you do--it will pass. Life will be a lot better.

You should see a competent therapist who can help you sort yourself out and if you are indeed gay, you will need further help to accept yourself for who you are.
