Well, I dont know your sexual habits, but stress and illness can cause missed periods, as well as some birth control (my best friend was on depo, and even after she stopped it took about two years for her periods to come back to normal) If your tests say negative (and at this point, if you were pregnant, you'd be about 6 weeks) you probably ARENT pregnant. you might want to go see a gyno though, since you're having period-like symptoms, but no bleeding, just to make sure that you're ok. But Im pretty sure you arent pregnant.

Well, it really depends on when you took the 2 pregnancy tests. There are a few on the market that allow you to test before you've even missed your period, but I, personally, have never tried those. I usally know before I've even missed my period. If I were you, I'd wait another couple of days and then retest. The pregnancy tests detect the pregnancy hormone HCG, and if the test comes up positive, it's because it has detected that specific hormone. The amount of this hormone increases greatly each day, so I'd give it a couple more days, as your body may not have enough to detect it yet. I trust my instinct more than some test, though. I just found out that I am 7 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby, and I knew it before I missed my period. Just retest, and if all else fails, go to the doctor or walk in clinic for a blood test which is rarely wrong. Good Luck

you might have a blood attempt to make valuable, yet interior the 1st trimester your HcG(the being pregnant hormone that tests verify for) point doubles daily--so in case you're a month plus previous due you would be 8-9 weeks pregnant(you're 4 weeks pregnant on the time you omit your era) and you may desire to have adequate HcG on your urine to get a marvelous attempt. even nevertheless, some women people would be unable to get a marvelous urine attempt and gets a blood attempt to locate a being pregnant. in case you're rather worried, then i could have this performed to make particular you're no longer pregnant. As for different motives you may desire to have ignored a era(s)...the record is exceedingly long: weight help/benefit, rigidity, intense exercising, thyroid issues, hormonal/endocrinatic imbalances, replace in hormonal birth control or you basically did no longer ovulate this cycle. All of those motives are fairly user-friendly. i've got ignored lots of classes in my existence(anovulatory cycles, too low physique fat, going off the pill, etc.)--at circumstances I knew i could no longer be pregnant and different circumstances while such as you, i replaced into hectic that i could desire to be. at last Aunt Flo will come and the two rain on your parade or make you bounce for excitement--untill then have a blood attempt and don't rigidity out too plenty--this could postpone your era extra. good success, desire each and everything works out the variety you may like it to :)

Anything is possible. Rememeber, home pregnancy tests always have that failure rate. Of course, so do tests administered by medical personnel, but with the medicall tests, at least they send them off to a lab for analysis. It may be a pain to wait for the results, but it will be worth it in the end.

yes, for some people it takes time for the pregnancy hormone to show up in the urine. Usually you need to be at least close to your period, and for many women, 5-7 days after your missed period before there's enough buildup of hormones for the test to read positive.

best of luck, hope you are pregnant if you want to be, and not if you don't. :)

Yes...best advise is to head to the doctors, or an ER for a blood test. There is no way around the results of a blood test, they are fact. OTC urine tests can be wrong. There could be other medical concerns too, ie hormone changes..talk to your MD.

The pregancy tests were probably right, you aren't pregnant. Those syptoms are from your period, and even if you don't have it. I haven't had mine yet since January 17 and I thought the same thing. But you aren't don't worry.
