Where in Nevada would be the best place to live with kids ? I want somewhere with good weather (Sunny all the time, no snow), safe/low crime, fun, a lot of stuff/entertainment for kids. I was considering Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin ?, etc. If anyone has any suggestions please advise. If you feel any of these places is not suitable to settle down with kids (and single mom) please also advise. Can live anywhere in U.S.A. (but do not like cold grey weather).....

The northwest section of North Las Vegas is pretty nice, many newer neighborhoods, and some well-established older ones. Same with Green Valley and Henderson. I personally would avoid Summerlin, because of the high crime rate, and I would also avoid anywhere downtown Las Vegas or North Las Vegas, for the same reason. Las Vegas can get very hot in the summer (118 degrees) but if you can stand this level of heat if the humidity is less than 15%. More than that and it gets like a steam bath, much like the Phoenix valley can get.

it depends how much money u have. If u have alot than summerlin is a good idea. It has generally low crime ever since they got rid of the 311 boyz a couple of years ago. Also consider spring valley. Right by summerilin and much much cheaper. idk about henderson or north las vegas. in my opinion, the eastern part is worse than the western part. But the guy above me was right. Get close to the mountains because the further away from the casinos, the better.

Hope i helped

I am going to be very honest with you here so please take my advice into consideration. Vegas is a place where many people stay for a brief period of time and then move on to other places. With that being said it is difficult to make and keep friends here. Our crime level has been way up recently. If I had kids I wouldn't live here BUT if you choose to here are some good places:

Summerlin (more expensive part of town---very nice though. low crime and somewhat suburban)

Henderson (a nice break from the "city" life. it has a much more "home" feel to it)

West Vegas (some of it is fine. the newer parts are good, the older parts near the strip are questionable)

Good luck to you.

Summerlin is where the rich people live, and it's gorgeous there. Henderson is very nice as well. Stay away from North Las Vegas, that is the worse place ever. The farther away you get from the center of the city, the better it is. So head towards the mountains basically.

particular, have faith me, particular. I went whilst i replaced into ten & it replaced into various exciting. you will no longer be able to gamble or drink, yet you could play video games, dangle out at swimming pools, and circulate to leisure parks. there's a great curler coaster on the strip and exciting rides in Circus Circus and Stratosphere and the Sahara and extra. There are loose shows exterior to observe and stuff. you will basically have exciting walking the Strip and seeing the resourceful motels modeled after widely used places and stuff. have faith me, it's going to be exciting. i'd advise Las Vegas for babies or young ones every time. playing isn't the only difficulty in Vegas.
