Do you really care what pepole think about you? positively or negatively?

Everyone cares to a certain extent. It's what lengths that people will go through in order to be liked that irritates me.

To some extent, people want to be wanted. To be accepted wihtin a group of people or a group of people. But not by everyone.
I care to an extent but I don't let it drag me down or bring me up. Some people's opinion are not as importent as others. Once you reconcile which opinion is importent (like your own opinion of your own self) it becomes a lot easier ignore those that don't matter.

No, although I do care what my husband thinks about me ... but he loves me, and that's definitely a 'good thing' ... otherwise, I can 'hope' people will 'like me' but don't think it's necessary that we become 'good friends' ... my husband is also my 'best friend' and I have two other 'best friends' who live in other cities, and that's really all I 'need' ... or want.

Not really. I generally value my own opinion and that of my Girlfriend, family, and the few close friends I have, all others are as ghosts to me, good or bad thoughts not withstanding. I govern my life by my thoughts and it works quite well.

People don't mind me.
I do care what others think of me to the extent that I take care of myself.
But I don't care if someone doesn't like me or not. That's stupid. Not everyone's going to like you.

i do. and that is not a good thing. i think about it too much, analyze it, mull over it. it drives me insane. here is the kicker, nobody knows this because i hide it really well. i have too much pride to show that it bothers me what others think of me.

well...i just know that i have to have confidence in myself...if they ar emaking fun of me..then i seriously dont care..but everyone has a good side and bad side and a close person would be apt to know.

no i dont care what people think about me and that might be a good thing when your in middle school (even if you think your crazy but it is true!)
