...the green START button on my computer.
When I click on START, "SEARCH" is not there now.
It's always been there...it's not now. I need it! Help!
(I'm asking this in two categories for maximum answers)

The only thing under start...is PROGRAMS

Well, everyone stole my solution....so if that don't work try Restore, if that don't work holler OLLY OLLY OXEN FREE! Maybe it will come out of hiding.....speaking of hiding have you checked under your keyboard?

1. Right click the green "start" button
2. Left click "Properties"
3. Left click the "Customize" button
4. Left click the "Advanced" tab
5. Scroll down (middle window) until you see a box next to "Search"
6. Put a check mark in the box next to "Search"
Your problem should be fixed!

right click the start button, go to properties, click start menu, click customize, click advanced, then under start menu items, scroll down and put a tick in search. then click ok.
