Recovery drive for backing up files??? Serious question...?

My windows live care is asking me to back up my files, can my files only be backed up on disks, or can they be sent to my Recovery drive???

Yes they can be sent to your recovery drive because usually MS backup utility suggests you to choose the location of backup.

your recovery drive is fine.
any other drive or even another partition can do the trick.
of course you need to consider why you are doing the backup.
most of the time this is so you won't lose the data due to a crash or a fire, etc.
then make sure the drive is an external or removable drive.
