Hello! It sounds like you could use a good antispyware program, and should you desire a freeware app... I'd recommend Spyware Terminator. Try and change your homepage by this: click start- then control panel - then internet connections- then internet options. Upon getting to the first tab, the present homepage location will be highlighted. Click it to clear it and put your desired homepage in it. Spyware Terminator is good, but to really watch over your homepage without it being hijacked...get SpySweeper. This will work real good and they'll quite keep you up to date.BTW I would not use their add-on toolbar. It's good but does cause problems for IE. Another way around this is to get Mozilla's Firefox. I have one homepage for IE and another for Firefox and it works great! Good luck.

you're not stuck
you can set your homepage to whatever you want

and if you have Explorer version 7, it allows you to set multiple home pages (each opens in its own tab) (MS is trying to catchup with other browsers)

There are many ways to do it. You can do it from internet properties, you can write a .reg file to modify the registry entry directly, etc. But first defeat any browser plug-ins or other software that sets it.
