What you can do is put together a little toiletry bag and keep it in your locker. Get some pads, an extra pair of panties, pants or shorts, and maybe some feminine wipes or baby wipes. Just put it in a bag and keep it in your locker. That way you'll be prepared for when it happens.

Don't worry. I am 13 too. My aunt had her period when she was in High School. Always have a pad with you and bring a extra pair of pants with you to school. Also if that does happen were it bleeds through your pants. Leave a sweater shirt in you locker and tie it around your waist over were you can see it till you can change your pants.

Don't fret...It's not uncommon. I didn't start mine until a few days before my 14th b-day, but of course my b-day is in June so I wasn't at school. Just tlk to your mom about it because maybe you should start wearing pantiliners (if you don't already). If you don't know what they are, there very thin pad-like strips that you can put onto your panties (like a pad!) and when the day arrives it could posibly save you some embarassment.

i don't know anyone who's period went all the way through their jeans the first time. but you can keep a jacket in your locker or something for security lol and if it goes through your jeans then tie the jacket around your waist. but really, there is nothing to worry about. besides it's pretty much impossible to bleed that much in one day lol

Don't worry you would notice before. You will be able to feel it since it's wet or see it when you go to the bathroom. It won't be heavy becaues it will be your first one so if you do get it at school you can either call home or go to the nurse. Good luck!

go to the school nurse, have some pads in your bags just in case, and talk to your mum about when she started, usually it's a herdiatory thing. You need to be open with your mum, or if your uncomfortable (as I was) talking to your mum, speak to one of your friends mum's who you trust (that's what I did) and make yourself knowledgeable on the subject. Don't be scared, it a normal stage of life, one day you'll wonder what you worried about.

Well you should know when you start because you should be able to feel that you are not dry done there. When I used to worry about that I would tie a sweater around my waist. If it happens tie a sweater aroud your waist then call home.

The first time you get your period, it usually isn't a big one. You will probably get a spot of blood. Even if it did bleed normally, it wouldn't be a gush. You would definitely notice before someone saw it.

Start keeping pads in a purse in handy. It's totally normal. Some girls don't get it untl much later. Cheer up!
