Just because gays defend their lifestyle and feel angry at being mocked, hated, discrimated, persecuted, abused, beat up, sneered at, etc., does not mean that they are mean, angry, hostile or bitter. If you were a gay person and someone asked you why YOU were one of the meanest people and were hostile, angry and bitter and that you had a perverted and deviant lifestyle, how would YOU feel? Would you not feel a bit defensive? I am not gay. I am straight. I am also a Christian. My beliefs are that the Bible says that it is wrong to be gay. Still, I believe in treating everyone with respect as human beings. It is not my place to judge anyone. When one has a hateful and angry attitude toward someone whose lifestyle differs from their own, then is it really such a surprise if the object of that hateful attitude feels defensive and justifiably angry as a result? C'mon people - agree to disagree, but can't we just all treat one another with basic human respect without engaging in unloving, unkind and hateful attitudes towards those we don't agree with?

That may just be your own experience with gay people. But in reality, it's just some people in general that are mean, whether gay, str8, or otherwise. Personally, I've had bad experiences with mean str8 guy homophobes.
But I mean, I'm gay, and I don't seem mean, do I? I sure hope not ...
I think alot of the gay people on yahoo!answers can get really frustrated and come off as mean, hostile and bitter because they get tired of all the ignorance and homophobia they face in life, and so they feel like they have to be defensive and tough.

I'm mean because of people like you calling us perverted when we actually are not. We are normal people just like you, you have no right in calling us perverted. And for the record "Thinks you know everything about people which in fact you don't", in my opinion theres more mean straight people then gays, but infact everyone is mean in their own way. Im sure in school some straight people hated you or was mean to you because of your attitude towards things. But like I said every gay/lesbian person i've ever met are sweet, caring, and nice. Another thing just because I'm a lesbian I don't hate straight people I for from hate them. I love everyone because in the bible "Treat others the way you'd like to be treated". How would you feel if a police officer come up to you and said "You are just the rudiest person I've come into contact with", I bet you'd come on here and say "Why are police men some of the meanest people?". I could almost bet a million you'd do that. And for the record I'm for from Mean, Angry, Hostile, Bitter. I treat everyone with the respect they deserve and for the record I'll treat you like I treat everyone else like you. Because as a lesbian I only have three enemies, and you act just like those three enemies which is a person who you think is better then everyone else which in fact you're not because you haven't been around much to understand us.

Not all gay people you describe are mean and hostile no
In fact some gay people are Christians who believe in
God Jesus and the bible
and some gay people can be so wonderful' and likeable
to be around
So not all gay people are this way and it is the way our society
treats people who are gay or lesbian treating them like they

And people are born like this look around you people all over
the world are different and most gay people are the kindest
people in our world
Do you think you are any better than a gay person or a retarded
person think about this

As a straight person, I have yet to meet an unfriendly gay person. I find them to be very nice people on the whole. Your question suggests hostility and rudeness, and I doubt I'd be very nice to you if you called me a deviant pervert.
