Depends what you want. Nintendo seem to create more "family" games, while Sony develop mindless first person shooters. Also, $700 for a PS3 vs. $250 for a Wii - do the math! Either way, they will both be obsolete in a year anyway. :)

There's a loaded question. From a business standpoint, Nintendo is the better company right now. They make a profit on every system they sell because they own the technology they use and the price just can't be beat. However, the Wii isn't perfect. Its just two Gamecubes slapped together and the controller is nothing but a gimmick right now. It remains to be seen if game companies will really support it. Also, since the Wii is the weakest system in terms of the specs, it will remain to be seen whether or not game companies will want to program for it when they can do a lot more on the PS3 and 360.

Nintendo would be better.
They are making a profit on every wii being sold. Sony are making a loss on every console being sold.
The wii is out selling the PS3 by 2 or 3 to 1 worldwide.
Nintendo innovate and Sony try to copy.

According to research from NPD, Sony sold just under 500000 in the world units in December alone, while Nintendo sold 604200 Wiis in the United States. So I think Nintendo is better because they also have better graphics and the game play of Nintendo is better than sony.

ok first of all sony has way better graphics i mean it is impossible to compare the wii's graphics to the ps3s graphics i understand nintendo is a classic and all but it has had its reign for long enough it was about time a new company got the glory and it ended up being sony the fact that it costs 600 is only because you get what you pay for you get better graphics better games and a bluray playeri mean tell me one wii title that is gonna make you wanna die to buy it besides brawl now for ps3 mgs4 devil may cry4 resident evil 5 haze lair and teken 6 are all just games i am dying to play but of course it all depends on what you want
