ip address error??

Question

i have windows XP. i have wireless internet connection but i can't connect. it keeps on telling me that there is an IP error. what can i do to fix this problem????

Somebody else else is using the same IP address as you:

Double-click on the connection icon (double-screens near your clock on the start bar).

Click on properties.

Click on (internet Protocol TCP/IP)

Click properties

Click "obtain IP address automatically"
