Obama is a Democrat.
All Democrats consider us working people as their slaves.
I grew up on the Democrat Plantation. It took years, but I escaped.

Are you familair with history at all? Every one of our founding fathers had slaves. The first 7 presidents had slaves.
Looking back in anyone's family tree might reveal a family member owned slaves.
A measure of a man's worth is not what someone near him has done, but measured by what the man himself has done.

I think so many people's ancestors owned slaves.....maybe even yours.

That was a long time ago,ill still vote for him. It was his family, and not him....there for he had nothing to do with what his family did. Lets not hold on to that past, and just think about our future.

400 years ago one of my ancestors was a pirate in the pay of england who killed quite a few people. I am no more responsible for his actions than past slavery of anyone in the south.

If that is the best you can do, then the republican argument is going to be sad this coming election.

Personally, I would not hold the actions of one's ancestors against anyone in the present.
Without the invent of a time machine no one has prefect family tree. My family on one side were indentured servants is that their fault?
No and it isn't the fault of the person's that brought them here - it is just a fact of life and in the distant past.

Grow up & move on.

P.S. As sensative as you are to other's dirty laundry - don't look into you own past.
It could be harmful to your blood pressure.

well this wouldnt sway my vote if i were voting for him....most of us have had family that were slaves or owned them...it is something horrible that was practiced in the past, but if his family owned slaves yesterday then yes he needs to denounce his fam
