camera software if installed and I know how to download the pics from the actual camera to the software what I am trying to do is download them to emails and I can't figure out how.

The best way is to forget about downloading them and get a card reader for $15 that you can put the memory card from the camera in. It's about ten times as fast as hooking the camera to the computer and will make the memory card look like a hard drive with pictures on it.

with some digital cameras after you connect your camera to your computer you can go to "my computer" on you computer and there should be a removable disk icon click on this icon and there should be the files on your camera, browse through the files and you should find you pics. Not. This only works with some digital cameras.

You need to add them to your email as an attachment. The attachement window will give you the option to "Browse", so you would go to the file that contains your photographs, click on the photograph you want and click "open" then follow the directions. You can only add one at a time but they will all be attached to the one email.
