That is why free speech is so important. It isn't just their free speech, it's yours, and mine. Our response to them in contrast to their posts is what help educate the NEXT generation, and point out both sides.
I just finished reading a post about a Christian who was doubting God's existance, and every Christian who tried to help her just seemed to make it seem more false.
What do you think would happen if bigotry and prejudice speech were silenced? How long would it take for people who lean that way to start to do it in secret, for others to wonder about it, for children to resent their parents for trying to steer them away from this mysterious "sin".
When it is open, and visible to all, that which is not true cannot survive. That is the way to destroy such things. Let them speak, but exercise your own free speech as well,...
...not to convince those who are bigoted, but to help others choose wisely for themselves.
Oh, and some of them aren't dumb. They may even be right (I don't think so), but to call your opponent dumb is to underestimate them and pretend you are smarter without doing anything to prove it. I'm sure you have some very good arguments against bigotry and racism.
Keep speaking up. My daughter is watching and learning from all of you.

Well, the whole free speech thing (1st Amendment) is to protect citizens from the government, not each other. As for racists, they are ignorant. Don't give them the time of day. They will only talk as long as some one is listening. They will never accept that they are wrong. The best thing you do to ignorant people is ignore them.

Its not that their stupid or ignorant people because they know what they're saying is wrong, but its more that their malicious cowards.
They have the protection of anonimity and feel they could vent their horrible evil natures without facing the consequences.
Trust me their just ugly cowards with no life and blame their bitterness on other people.
Best thing to do is just ignore them that way they wont get the attention they crave!

just look at the KKK! how funny is it that they wear hoods? they don't wanna get their a,s,s kicked by an old lady! they can only be powerful in Numbers and have no clue what life is all about!
that's how it works on the net as well! they can stay hidden without fear that a toy poodle might harm them! they are about the least important group of people in this world along with their oh so special friend fundamentalists who answer their jihads all day , the KKK idiots say they are doing it as Christians!

you have the right idea, thats for sure. but racist or not, stupid is as stupid does.......ever heard that before. i think stupid people get kicks from just getting negative attention because they arent smart enough to do it any other way. and using our freedom of speech is the only thing protecting them really. i just try to ignore them because what they want is attention, and i for one dont want to give it to them. how about you?

They have nothing better to do. They're so scared to step out of their house and say it in public so they sit behind a computer and do it, where no one can touch or hurt them. I call them closet racists because they're the ones who will smile in your face and be nice to you while you're around but the minute you're out of sight they will call you every nasty racial slur in the book.
