yes. Two blue eyed parents can have a child with brown eyes and so on. It all depends on the genes. I'd pay closer attention to what the grandparent's eye coloring is to determing the child's potential eye colors.

Brown eyes are the dominant gene so the child will most likely have brown eyes.

However, my mom has blue eyes and my dad has brown--my sister and I have blue eyes.

AND--my husband has brown eyes but my son has blue. I guess you can never tell.

Yes - genetics depends on more than just mom and dad. Parents carry genes from their parents too. It would not be common to get a brown-eyed baby when one parent has blue eyes, but it is possible.

For fun, here's an eye color predictor site. Basic, but fun!

certain, hazel is a lighter brown contained in the genetic international. I easily have a blue eyed toddler, eco-friendly eyed toddler and a brown eyed toddler. I easily have eco-friendly eyes and my husband has blue. yet both one in each of my dad and mom have brown. eco-friendly and hazel are contained in the brown catagory-to simplify it.
