I got pulled over recently on Route 95 in New England, and when I asked the state trooper what the problem was, he told me that my inspection sticker was expired. I explained to him that I didn't know that, because this was my girlfriend's car, and I had only borrowed it for the day. He asked me for the car registration, and when I opened the glove compartment a number of tampons fell onto the floor. He looked in and started laughing and said "Now I believe you. Tell your girl to get the car inspected"...and left. That's public service!

I got pulled over when i 1st got my license back 20 years ago when me and my mom and 1 of my sisters was headed up to Maine to see 1 of my other sisters because she was pregnant and had toxemia and at a point of death and let made the choice to let my niece live and we wanted to be there for her husband and prey that everything went the right way, and i was exceeding the speed limit and flew past an on ramp and on was coming a police officer.who yes pulled me over for speeding. My license was in the trunk, I had to get out and get it and my mother had been sleeping in the passenger seat and she got out and he pulled his gun on her telling her to get back in the car for safety sake, not funny at the time but it is now! I ended up explaining the situation and not getting a ticket, very amazing!

My husband was caught speeding in an old Buick, when the Officer told him how fast he thought he was going, my husband laughed and said" if this old junker can go over 100 km/hr I'll give it to you." He ended up getting a ticket for half of what he was actually doing.

My best story about being pulled over is that one night i decided to NOt stay at my boyfriend's apartment. I was dressed in a black negligee and a red flowered kimono...sans shoes, as it was only a few blocks back to my place..... i had had it with his sour remarks and i decided there and then that i would NOt take the verbal abuse anymore..... got in my beat up but trusty car, and was drigin the two miles to my place....enter the lights and sirens......i pulled over, and got out, it was a cool early autumn, chilly and I got out of the car. (didnt have my glasses on either) replete with the black provocative look and no shoes, produced my license and reg and proof of insurance....i am sure he wondered if i had been drinking, which I don't any way...I leaned against he car...and said..."Do i have a tail light out? I know I wasn't going too fast...' he looked at me in the attire iwas wearing and asked if i had been to a bar...."No ...I don't drink" I said softly and he looked at my paper work and I explained that i had wanted to abstain from a possible abusive night.....he looked at me and said "You are serious arent you?" ~ I told him that i could no longer stand the bottom feeding nature of abusers and that i had made my mind up....and to ticket me if he thought i should be.....his reply was one of compassion and humanity..... I was told to go and be well and take great care..... i turned a corner that night. Since then i can honestly say that aside from being embarrassed about my attire...i have stayed true to myself and no longer take the passive aggressive behaviour that is so pre-eminant in many alliances.
Thanks...perhaps you wanted to knwo how I got out of a ticket, but this to me was a stellar night....on the way home I saw a shooting star and my eyes filled with tears and i knew that my life had forever changed...and so it has
Thank You
Lioncourt

I had just turned 16 and one of my first times out with my sister. She was messing with the radio and I was trying to stop her. Of course I was going over the yellow line a little and I didn't notice the police car following me. After a few miles the backup showed and they pulled me over, thinking I was a drunk driver. I told them it was my sisters fault and that I wasn't drinking. I had to blow in his face so he would believe me. He let me go and told me to go home. At school the next day I got teased a lot.

Ha Ha!
I've been driving around for 12 years now, and surprisingly, I've never been pulled over or involved in an accident, so I have no story.

ex and I arguing non-stop on way home (after midnight) told her to shut up or get kicked out she chose to be kicked out which I gladly obliged..it was on a rural unlit street...a cop just happened to be driving by in opposite direction.. saw her get out and me pull off...stopped me about 4 miles down the road...told me I could choose either take her home with me or go to jail...I asked if she'd swear not to speak a single word I would take her home....but if she wouldn't swear to be quiet for him to put the cuffs on me right now and take my butt to jail...she was completely silent the remainder of the drive....
