No one is too old enough to hang your art on the fridge. It's like a cultural thing. Although it's usually done by little kids, that doesn't mean adults shouldn't do it. By all means, you should. Especially if it's something that you take pride in.

If you feel you are too old,you might just try getting a frame for it. I do that too though and I am 32. I have ten tons of magnets just so I can.

lol! As long as they aren't creepy crayon pictures, done with a shakey hand and stick figures...then it's ok but I'd personally have it framed if it's really nice and put it in the livingroom or a room where you can share it with everyone!
