I recently bought a nintendo wii. The other day, I tried to go on the wii online thing and I had a problem with it. I have a wireless router in my house and I know that it works because I also have an xbox with xbox live and that works just fine. The problem is that after everything downloaded, it said that it was going to try and access the internet. It couldn't however because it said it had a problem obtaining the IP address. Any ideas? is there any way to put in the IP manually? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that I have the same problem with my PSP. Any suggestions about that would be good too.

all you have to do is go to the Wii settings, go to "Internet," set up "Connection 1," "Search for an Access Point," find your network, run a connection test, and you should be good to go.

Do you have a WEP/WAP key on your router? That could be your problem.
