I suspect that the oil company executives are looking for money to buy a new yacht for the boating season.

They never had any intention of keeping them at the lower levels. Gas is already up to $2.89-2.99 per gallon where I live. In January it got as low as $2.23 per gallon. How could it go up 66 cents + per gallon in a few months??? I think Bush and his oil friends had something to do with lowering prices when his approval ratings plummeted. They were finally at realistic levels and now have decided it's time to screw us again. What else could it really be? Sure, holidays, and seasons allow for fluctuations in demand. However, they have a good idea when the increase in demand will occur and should increase their supply to stabilize prices. I'm actually using less than last year as are many people I know. Yet, prices are going up again when supply should be abundant.

No reason given this time. They no longer wish to pretend that something caused it other than Bush has allowed the oil companies to charge as much as they wish whenever they wish.

The American public has been desensitized to it, we no longer complain.

The reason must be because you live where you do. It just went down where I live.

Sucks to be you.
