During the 12 years I lived in Boston, one year we had a bad snowstorm on May 10 and one year there was a snowstorm on October 10.

It varies from year to year.

Normally by the end of March in the Boston area we're done w/snow. We have had a few late storms in the past, so it's not a done deal. Northern New England can snow a bit later - into April, anyway.

As the others said, it usually stops in late March, early April BUT it can snow into May if it is cold enough. We have only had flurries this week, no real snow.

Southern New England-early march, though flurries in April are not completely unheard of.

Northern New England-you can still get heavy snows in March, and light snow as late as early May. It just depends what part of New England.

well im not sure about northern new england, but in mass we usually get snow thru the end of march. we have had a few big storms even in april. april is one of those months that can go either way, it can be freezing or really nice. i remember one year when i was about 10, it was april vacation so it was mid to late april, and it was about 80 degrees outside so we were in shorts, but there were still some snow piles on the ground that hadnt completely melted yet! thats new enlgand for you!!! :)

The last snowstorm in Massachusetts is usually sometime in March. It is highly unusual (but not unheard of) to have snow in April. Once you've made it to May, chances are you won't see any flakes until November or December (unless you happen to run into your crazy Aunt Flo, of course!)

Well it's march and it snowed today. I remember it snowed at the end of April one time. Very unexpected snowfall. Gotta love it.. :)

It's hard to answer that because it varies every year. I say normally it ends in March and it may end at least late april the latest.

Normally, it stops mid-April. We've been know to get North-easter during May when all the trees are budding.

There's only one snow-free day. On the 4th of July for the fireworks.
