Its a country song & I think its new..It also says something about the man being out with his friends and they ask him why he is leaving & the song says "he just holds up his ring finger"...
I know I'm probably not much help...But anyone have any idea of what the song is??

It sounds like a song George Strait did once, but it's not that new (year or two ago I think). I'm drawing a blank on the song title right now. If it comes to me, I'll edit it in. Alan Jackson and Brad Paisley also do a lot of love songs like that, but I don't recognize it as any of theirs.
Thought of another possibility over the weekend. There is a Montgomery Gentry song called "She Don't Tell Me To" that mentions a guy leaving his friends early because he loves her and she doesn't tell him to (leave early). Maybe that's the one you are referring to.
