sad songs don't mend broken hearts they just remind you of how sad you are, listen to cheerful tunes instead

Listen to Elliott Smith's last three albums (XO, Figure 8, From a Basement on the Hill) if you wanna wallow in your misery.

If you need some sunshine ... aural Prozac, if you will ... get ahold of The Cardigans' first three albums (Emmerdale, Life, First Band on the Moon). Nina Persson's voice is soooo cheery, and the music is happy-happy!

Try to listen THE PROMISE BY: TRACY CHAPMAN whenever you think of her.. or ANGLE BY: SARAH Mclalan.. or i WANNA WAKE UP WITH YOU BY: MARK ANTHONY to ease the pain you feel inside.. or even the song UNDER THE SAME SUN.. bro, one thing is for sure.. Only time could heal a broken hearted... Just feel the kind of pain you felt as of now.. sooner or later you'lle over come all of it.. I was once like you before.. and the best thing for you to do also is that, try to forget and forgive.. try to find another love of your life.. I mean, theirs a saying that, the only way to forget a woman is to find another woman.. why don't you try it. maybe it would work...

Have a listen to " you ought to know" by Alanis Morissett...kind of puts the braking up into perspective ...and more like the truth than the sad songs you are listening to.

Not sure what U2 album(s) you were listening to, but Achtung Baby is perfect post-breakup music.

dude ...if you broke up with her, listen to stuff about getting on with your life, If she broke up with you, listen to stuff about how she's missing out on the best thing in life etc...don't dwell on the sad stuff!! It only makes it hurt more.
