i've had my share of porn watching. here's what i think:


porn is like cotton candy. it's kinda cool and exciting because you rarely get to have it. it's a novelty. you get tired of it after a few tastes of it, even though it looks great. if you actually finish the whole thing, which is rare, you are left with sticky hands and a hunger for something real.

porn is kinda cool because of all the nakedness, and moaning and groaning. i watch it every now and again just for the hot chicks. the men in porn are RARELY hot, or interesting. that's the real downside of it, in my opinion.

porn gets boring though, because it's staged. there might be a hint of spontanaeity here and there, but all in all, it's pretty fake. if you can suspend disbelief, i suppose it can be watchable.

i can't stand the way that directors ask their actresses to keep their shoes on in a porn scene. it's just ludicrous. what woman is going to be wearing stilletos while some guy is wrapping her legs around her neck? sometimes porn is so stupid that i have to laugh at it, like i would heckle a "b movie". there are other things actors do in these movies that are just - ridiculous - but i know that yahoo answers is a family show, so i won't go there.

i've watched some erotica made by women for women. some of those are ok, but the downfall is that too many toys are involved. sometimes, the actresses are too butch-looking. when this is the case, it becomes more of a freak show than good old porn.

i can't say i know too much about porn mags. they don't really interest me.

The views are as varied as views on anything else. You'll find women who don't personally like porn, but are okay with it being out there and enjoyed by others, those who personally don't like porn and hate it and think it should be illegal/banned, those who only like certain types of porn, those who love it . . . the list goes on.

Personally, I love porn every which way, and I think it's healthy, normal, and if approached the right way (sex-positively), that it is a wonderful thing.

Overall, the percentage of women who truly enjoy porn, I think, is fairly small, for several reasons. Women are less visually-oriented than men, and most of the porn out there is produced by men, and for men, with a male aesthetic and mindest. Most women I know have no idea that there is porn out there produced explicitly for women, in a format that women might better enjoy (more romantic, emotional, more focus on the woman and her pleasure, little or no misogyny, a possible plot or storyline, more passion, etc.).

So to answer your question, there are women out there who like porn, and there are more who don't.

I don't like porn movies, because the females act sooo fake. I just like pictures of women. I am bisexual, but I could care less about looking at pictures of men although I like sex w/my husband-I guess he's the only man I really find attractive and that I could love in that way. We like to make our own porn, that's the ultimate turn-on!! : )

Finally a question to answer. There are so many idiots on here asking stupid questions. I know that men are generally more aroused by visual sexual images than women. I like to look at porn and pics of naked men occasionally. I'm pretty indifferent to straight and lesbian porn but I find gay male porn to be quite erotic. That's the only porn I enjoy watching. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to sexual matters and I don't find pornography degrading or immoral. I'm referring to porn with consenting adults.

I think porn is great to stimulate you sexually, especially if you masturbate it really sets the mood. I personally enjoy it, but not all the time, it tends to lose its novelty.
