Kudos!!!
Pity for the silly fools who actually thought I was being legit. And I thought Politics being my category, would give it away.
But yes! This was indeed from Mr. Obama's church, with white instead of black.
I'm not so much saying that he's a racist, just that he's obviously buying into a belief system like this. And he supports it, because he puts up with it. I wouldn't be a member of a church that screams "white Power," because I don't believe thats right. I have a biracial congregation.
It's funny how that works. They say black, it's ok. I say white, it's racist. I'll be damned.

I am amazed how quick everyone points a finger and says "racist". Whites are not allowed to even have a personal belief without being labeled racist or bigot. I say bite me. A racist is one who takes action or attacks any race including their own, like not giving the job or home due to race. People now a days are so quick to call someone a racist for their thoughts or generalizations.

C'mon already people are you serious. You are a flat out liar if you say you have not made generalizations about a certain race. Noticing differences has become this huge stigmata of a racist these days, when it really is just human nature.

Get that s@#t out of my face already. Show me one person who hasn't noticed differences between races besides Hellen Keller.

Skin color, skin color, skin color! If there is ever a double standard in America this is it! I hear blacks say Martin Luther King stood for colorblindness! Is that what this is? Does this really help society? Is segregation the answer to our diversity "problem"? It just kills me. This is not colorblind this is just straight up blind! These people believe in solving equality through division! I have many black friends and the only difference they are to me is skin color!!! When will you people stop defending these actions! I swear to you now that if I made something to help bring whites together it would turn out alot different than acceptance! Here's the real kicker though, I don't have to do this! I preach freedom and tolerance, not diversity and division! Black, white, mexican, asian, indian......who cares!!! All I know is that this hidden bigotry is killing a nation of free people! Every race is as racist as the other. When I say this I mean there are alot of people in both races that ignore skin color and look at the inside of a person while at the same time there are lots of people, in every race, that are bigots! They will always be around and there is nothing the government will do to help.....only hurt! By forcing people like affirmative action, the government is not allowing voluntary action, they are forcing relationships like a Pakistani arranged marriage! Although these people are stuck with each other for life...government creates more tension by force than freedom will ever create! Impersonal markets are key to society. They help reduce racism and help bridge gaps between different races! I am telling you right now force is never the answer unless you are fighting for freedom! Obama should denounce this church and ignore skin color as he hopes many people in the US will do the same! The reason I will not vote for Obama has nothing to do with skin color! It has to do with his use of force in a free country! He is no better than a moralistic republican! ~ Libertarian

Well, I don't see anything in this that says other races are bad, other races are unworthy, or anything of the sort. So, I'd have to say, no, this isn't racist, although I'm sure everyone else will disagree. Being proud of, and supporting your own "white-ness" is no different than being hispanic or black and doing the same thing.

well.. this is kind of tricky... for several reasons... but I do see your point...

let's look at "why" this is tricky though...

there have been a lot of complaints that blacks aren't supporting blacks enough, both in the community and in the family... (not so much they are supporting whites, they just aren't supporting anyone, some believe)... and that is why some of their communites are struggling or failing...

now to try and correct this, they are making this list of things to hopefully bring back the pride in being black and the work ethic some feel that some have lost in the community...

the real divide of ideas here is... these things aren't considered lost in the white community, by most people, so instead of sounding like your "promoting ideas" to improve the community, it instead sounds like you're promoting "seperation" in the community... since there is little social discussion about these problems in the white community, versus much discussion in the black community...

if many people thought there were problems in the white community then it may not be racist... but since these things aren't considered problems... you adding the word "white" to things that aren't problems implies that you don't want to improve them, but seperate them from other races, since they aren't "broken" in the first place...

it doesn't work both ways, because there is a huge social difference... and different social problems...

are they preaching "seperation" or are they preaching "improvement"... relative to the current social discussions and situations...

I've heard many in the white community complain about these issues in the black community even... and saying that it's "racist" or could be racist, seems to only make the issue more complicated...

The funny thing is if you replaced the word "white" with "black," no one would say you were a racist.

However, I think whether you it's "white" or "black," YES, that is racist as it makes skin-color the dominant factor in one's decision making.

The thing is, as you point out, many idiotically believe that only whites can be racist. That's not true, it's just that black racism against whites is accepted now, unfortunately.

Almost sounds like a KKK list of ideals, with the exception of #11, so if this is an actual list of Obama's church's ideals, then it's got a slight hint of racism in it. But as a white guy, I have no problem with it.
