Here's the problem: I have downloaded music onto my PSP but cannot listen to it. I keep recieving a message that I need to enable WMA using wireless access points. My dorm and univeristy offer wireless access which works fine on my lap top, but on my psp I recieve a message stating internal error. Any suggestions on how to get it to work?

Thanks.

WMA playback adds support for a more efficient audio codec than what is possible using MP3, which is important for fitting more songs on those over-priced Memory Sticks. After upgrading to the latest firmware update, you'll see an option on the System Settings menu to Enable WMA Playback. Select this option and the onscreen instructions will guide you to a WMA-enabled experience. No support yet for PlaysForSure content, but enabling WMA support is a step in the right direction. Keep in mind, updating the PSP firmware likely renders any emulator hacks you may be using, so if you prefer hackability over standard features, living without WMA support may be necessary.

You have to go to Settings, then to System Settings, then to Enable WMA Playback. And make sure your WLAN is on. If you don't have an Access Point saved on your PSP, you'll have to scan for one.

And keep your psp updated. Here's a link to download Version 3.11: http://www.us.playstation.com/PSP/Downloads/SystemUpdate
