Its a japanese name,very unique apparently, my partner has this name picked out so far for when our son is born we are both aust. its just a name he has picked out that hes always liked

i think its a great choice to give your son a unique name instead of being one of like fifteen kids in his grade named brad or kyle or something.

lol when i read it at first i thougth you were asking if it was a good idea to name your kid shinji4 like a video game or something.

Shinji eh? That's very Japanese. What's the meaning? A name that's similar that prefer more is Shino. It just sounds better to me.

It is unique, but be prepared for your child to be made fun of. Kids can be terribly mean.

I personally like the name.

well are you japanese. if not i dont think it is a very good idea. it is a very nice japanese name though. but not for an american.

I like it. If it were me, I would spell it Shin Ji. If you have a girl, Xuan is nice (pronounced swan)
