For example my partner is always late to things and I pride myself on being on time. I set a schedule and it's almost like he goes out of his way to make sure the schedule isn't met. While I know its not conscious on his part (or maybe it is) it is really annoying to me.

Because of his constant tardiness - we missed our plane and thus our vacation was cancelled, we were late to his best friends wedding and we are the friends that you tell to be somewhere a half an hour early bc you know they won't be on time.

I just get so annoyed, but is being late really that big of a deal. Am I just the one who needs to change and accept that as long as we are together we will be late? I find it hard to believe that he will be changing anytime soon.

Thanks!

Well chances are he wouldn't be changing anytime soon unless you take the initiative in informing him of his tardiness. Get him a planner give that will help him organize his time more efficiently. But most importantly let him know that it bothers you.
