the age, the freedom, the responsiblity, and the building. in high school they need more room for more classes, and stuff like that. the people, the peer groups, basically the only thing similiar about them is that they are schools.

I think the biggest difference between middle and high school is the work load. I have so many projects to do. Right now, I have a 10 minute presentation due by the 14. The work isn't harder. I'm disappointed. I was expecting more challenging work.

Middle school is usually grades 6-8
High school is grades 9-12
Some middle schools only include grades 7-8, depends on what sort of space and resources the school system has.
High usually has a wider choice of classes for students and has more emphasis on preparing for after high school.

you get much more freedom in high school but more responsibilities. in middle school you don't have freedom and you don't worry about responsibilities.

You finally get to really decide what classes you want to take. You get to choose your electives, and other classes and the difficulty of them.

much more freedom ... they are starting to treat you like going to college meaning you do not do your homework they are not all on you,, it is your grade.... more sporting events
very oriented to the year you graduate,,, it is seniors vs jr and so on,,, it is the best time of your life so enjoy
