This is just sad that people actually believe that all that money and the hopes of a dead president and the hopes of the entire world were manufactured in a studio.YES it happened ! We humans actually went to the moon and came back several times until the general public started complaining about the cost of these historical and awesome adventures. We all have to remember as many have stated already in this forum that the Vietnam war was in full swing at that point and going to the moon did not seem like a prudent expenditure of American tax payer dollars. Many have stated that aliens were watching our astronauts from the crater wall and that we were warned not to come back because they had a base there. As to the specifics of this story I cant say for sure but there is strong evidence that this conspiracy story may be true. There are films that you can find from NASA archival footage showing UFOs sited and filmed in orbit around the moon. There have also been ameatuer astronomers who have sited and filmed some rather large objects in orbit around the moon.
I myself have spoke to certain people who were involved with the Apollo program who have stated that indeed there were controlled craft in orbit around the moon and that they were watching us from a distance. The universe is so vast and old its mind boggling and I cant see any reason why the story wouldnt be true.Several former astronauts from the US as well as Russia have come out in the open to speak about UFOs they have witnessed in the time they spent in space.

However Im getting off topic now and could spend alot of time on this issue alone.
Did we go ? YES !

Did the Nazi extermination of the jewish people happen ? YES !
Thats one I truly become sick about when I hear it even mentioned.
There are some people who no matter what -want to believe in the negative or not want to see the truth when its right before there eyes. You cant help those people ,you can only pray that they dont vote or have a position of power.

Hello James,
There are a few doubts around the world about whether the men in apollo 11 really landed, but I believe they did go there, but whether they actually landed on the moon I would prefer to leave it to those, who can prove that they didn't actually land on the moon. It certainly cost enough money to get there, and we have to wonder after all these years, what was the point of it all, we only learned a small percentage of what we already knew, and were taught to understand. was it worth all these Billions of dollars, I don't think so, the money could have been used better for the worlds needy, and the third world debt could have been wiped out decades ago. No point us getting in the way of those that were metaphorically 'fighting' Russia, in a space race, that proved nothing to me, except to say that I am still here and did not suffer a nuclear death, so let the big boys play with their toys, and we will continue to vote them in and out of power...I enjoyed this question...Thanks.... Tony M

No, it was all a hoax. Do a google search for "did they land on the moon" and read the articles. They convinced me. After all, they would have had a McDonalds on there by now if they really had been!

Going to the bottom of the ocean is 10 times more difficult than going to the moon. A human being has never touched the bottom of the deepest ocean. Yes, humans went to the moon and touched the surface.

YES

look: only mathematicians can count on absolute proof, and only for really boring things. It's logically possible (for many people) to deny the existence of Australia. But what's the point? Stoopid conspiracy theories you will have with you always. Get back to reality; there's more going on there.

Like Verbal said (Usual Suspects): there's no mystery to the street. Like Occam said, the theory that relies on the smallest number of unconnected assumptions is usually the best one (Occam's Razor).

If you must, listen to whatever arguments your nutjob friend has to present, then go and dig beneath each of them. You'll find the arguments are all pretty weak. They walked on the moon. Big deal. It's a lot like Waikiki: expensive and disappointing.

Yes. Below is a link explaining the "evidence" it was a hoax, many still won't believe it and that's why NASA quit arguing it.

Also, no one could keep that many people quiet this long, no matter what threats, payoffs etc... were offered, someone would have talked by now.

Yes. The story that the Apollo missions were frauds is a lie. A lie goes round the world before the truth gets it's boots on.

BTW the story about the Bermuda triangle is a set of lies as well.

No, I don't. I think it was propaganda to keep people's mind's off of the war in Viet Nam. And like the person before said, why haven't they gone back to the moon given the current technology. I would like to add one more thing. The whole thing was set up in a Hollywood studio. Do you think they had the technology back then to be able to communicate into outer space. That is very unlikely.

I'm not sure if i believe it or not. i was told that Neil Armstrong never did land on the moon. apparently the flag on the moon was waving, which only happens when there's wind blowing. something that I'm told does not happen whilst in space.

Yes. Only because I find it hard too believe that after all this time nobody has come forward to make a fortune to show otherwise. We have theories they are only theories. Too many people were involved, by now somebody in the know would have come forward for money.
