Many nuclear bombs have been detonated on Earth. Most of them were test explosions but two were used to destroy the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II. There was lots of destruction near the explosions, and some radioactive fallout, but you wouldn't know it today. Hiroshima and Nagasaki have been rebuilt and are thriving cities today.

depends on where it hits and how large it is

for knowing that these bombs already contributed to a raise of radiation levels in the athmosphere we could see another raise of radiation.

if its a regular nuclear bomb and it would explode high enough large areas get a good dose of fallout and a lot of electric and electronic equipment will cease functioning.
on global scale nothing very much would happen.

It would go boom. And the US would retaliate by nuking Iraq.

And if it just fell from the sky I would rather have it in your district than mine.
