i gave birth on jan. 27th and it's only been about 4 weeks and I'm bleeding kinda heavy like a period. i thought your period didn't return for months??

If you breastfeed it can take a very long time to return. I didn't receive mine until the twins were 11 months old. I did however bleed heavily for the first 5 weeks after giving birth to them. If you don't breastfeed it comes right back.

Everyone's body is different and I would call you doctor to be sure... I had a c-section and it took 13 weeks before I had my first period.. It was extremely heavy and last about 6 days (normal for me is 4)... Most doctors tell you that somewhere between 6-12 weeks.. but usually closer to 12... although it can start anytime.. I would still call the doc if you are worried about it. After my c-section though I only bled for maybe a week.

My era back at 8-9 months after all of my births. it won't influence breastfeeding in any respect. i replaced into chuffed it began then on the grounds that i wanted a 2d infant perfect away and it replaced into hassle-free to plot in accordance to my cycle.

i gave birth on the 18th Feb and was wondering the same thing. I was of the understanding that it is later if your breast feeding. Mine were very irregular to begin with but it would be nice to know when to expect them

usually you bleed for about 3-4 weeks-getting rid of all that stuff in your uterus from pregnancy-then within a week or two you have ur first regular period
