mainly to c how others reacted, most people said no it doesn't or they just ignored it.

I think that it was terrible that no one even asked why she thought that way.

I know this person very well, she'd not depressed or anything twas an experiment to see if people would care.

Maybe people's first reactions were that she was attention seeking (when she wasn't, obviously). That's why they thought to ignore the subject altogether or to steer away from the topic.
At least she doesn't feel that way, but it's interesting to see others' reactions.

I think that is weird, but if you think about it that is why there is so much suicide. People tend to think that others are joking or that they would never do something like that. They just push it aside and then are all surprised when that person takes their own life. You should never take such a comment lightly.

No, it is not great, especially if you're the one who finds the body. And anytime someone talks about suicide a friend should take it seriously. There is a mistaken idea that people who talk about suicide never actually follow through. WRONG!!! Have a heart to heart with this person, and talk to her parents. You might save her life.

No, suicide is not even at all funny... It's selfish, rude. Suicide is the answer to those who needs help (serious), not attention seekers... And those who seek attention by talking suicide needs to be checked into mental hospitals, because it's a subject that is very sentisive, and causes other people worries, and stuff.

If a person is going to commit suicide, there are true indications.
Lack of personal hygiene, loss of communication, sleeps a lot, gives favorite personal items away, etc.
Maybe this person has cried wolf too many times.
