in our local paper yesterday they have on the front page,,,anatomy of a power plant and it shows a picture of the plant with details of where things in the plant are located,,i,e,, fuel handling area , reactor vessel,,yada, yada,,my question,,is if we are in terror alert why in the hell would they print such a picture and caption? not that you couldnt find it on the net,,but anyway,,are we really that nieve to think that it couldn't be used to inflict more terror by launching an attack there?/

anyone wanting to hit your power plant would probaly have some one working there so they would know everything. work schedules peoples habits. i doubt they would go by just the paper.

Nuke plants are very secure. And you answered your own question by saying "not that you couldn't find it on the net". If the information is out there, then why worry about reporting it? Anyone who wants to commit a terrorist act is going to do some research and not sit around on their thumbs waiting for the New York Times to print a diagram of a government building.

True, but there are many other ways to accomplish this than with attacking a power plant. Remember, bio-terror.
