If Hitler had enough power and influence to transform a ruined Germany into a dictatorship, why didn't he also establish a monarchy as well? He called his new regime the Third "Reich", which basically means Third "Empire". Shouldn't he have made himself the Emperor of his new German Empire as well? It just seems like this is something that any egotistical and power-hungry man would have done.

That's what a fuhrer is.

Most roman emperors would have craved the power Hitler had.

Because there already was a German royal family at the time, and many of them (some of the--debatable) were behind Hitler, either lending support or finances to help him into power. To suddenly cut out his financial base simply to take a title would have led to serious problems within his closest advisors.

To be sure, some did oppose him. He killed a few I think.

Probably because he despised monarchies and royalties. He was brought up as a poor boy, and royalty in fighting was the reason of WW1 were he fought as a leutenant. So he could not turnaround and conceive himself as King, Ultimate Leader or Führer was acceptable.
Start your reading history prior the WW1.

Hitler only had power and influence because he was able to get a large enough group of sheep together who were willing to "just follow orders". Hilter was too busy gassing people to death and torturing them to care what he was called.

well he basically was just in different terms and I'm sure we would have proclaimed himself as emperor if he had won the war , but he was to busy murdering millions of people for a nice ceremony.

It was not part of his agreement with British empire. He did what was agreed and signed mutually with him and Britishers.
That famous agreement gave the world, a word, "OK", as Hitler wrote on the initial draft of the same agreement, Oll Korrect. That later on become, OK.

He fundamentally did just that, by making himself the "Fuhrer." His power was virtually unlimited.
