theres a music video with a man that REALLY resembles max from eastenders...does anyone know what band i am thinking of and whether it actually is the same bloke?

He seems to look like the guy from erasure Andy Bell i think. Upon looking for the info i am sure he is not him.

Jake Wood (born 12 July 1972) is a British actor.

He has appeared in many television series and films since 1985. His first acting role was in the 1985 film Flesh & Blood. He has since appeared in several television series such as Only Fools and Horses, Inspector Morse, One Foot in the Grave, Red Dwarf and Doc Martin. He also appeared in the film Vera Drake. As well as these he appeared in Le Café des Rêves, a BBC produced 5 part serial drama produced by the BBC for French Students. He appeared as two different characters in the series Press Gang. He made a brief appearance in the episode "The Rest of My Life", and played an accidental killer in "Killer on the Line".

Jake Wood is the current voice of the GEICO gecko. Jake also featured as part of a team presenting Click, a computer games magazine on VHS video in the early '90s.

He currently plays Max Branning in the BBC soap opera EastEnders since July 2006. Later that year he appeared in the period film The Illusionist opposite Edward Norton.

I don't know about an 80's band, but I'm sure I remember him jumping around dressed as a punk to music in an ad for the prudential thinking I want to be a brain surgeon. It was wierd because he had spiky ginger hair and now he's almost completely bald. He was also in Red Dwarf as Kill Crazy in the 3 Back to the Dwarf episodes too.

i'm 15 and that i presumed Archie replaced into somewhat warm! No, it is not wierd. you're probable in simple terms dealing with a style of hormonal stages. next twelve months you will look over it and chuckle :-)

I've Googled his name, & it says that Jake Wood played piano/keyboard for Kaiser Chiefs. I don't know if it's the same one, but it's the same name.
